Golden Harvest: Lughnasadh Sound Bath

Join us on August 2nd for a restorative and grounding sound bath, celebrating Lughnasadh, the Celtic harvest festival. This session is inspired by The Empress Tarot card and the element of earth, inviting you to connect deeply with the energy of abundance, stability, compassion, and growth. You’ll be invited to set an intention and reflect on themes such as abundance, growth, reciprocity, gratitude, and your relationship with the material world.

The sound bath will feature Himalayan singing bowls, Earth (Chau) gong, and therapeutic percussion, including thunder drum, chimes, rainstick, and shakers, to help you feel connected to the nurturing energy of Mother Earth. Himalayan singing bowls are harmonically rich with warm golden tones that promote deep relaxation, creating a sense of comfort and safety that feels like a ‘sonic cuddle’.

Gongs are known for their physicality, and their vibrations can be felt in the body, helping to clear stagnant energy, relieve physical tension, and release ‘stuck’ emotions. Earth gongs have a primal, heartbeat-like resonance that feels like being embraced by Mother Earth, creating a sense of stability that’s great for grounding and releasing stress.
