The world’s largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Fringe, will return from Friday 1 August to Sunday 25 August 2025. Across three weeks, audiences can enjoy over 3,300 shows in more than 265 venues, ranging from traditional theatres to street corners, pubs, parks, and even buses.
A Feast of Creativity
Fringe 2025 offers a truly global showcase of creativity, bringing together performances from artists representing 58 countries. With genres spanning comedy, theatre, music, dance, cabaret, circus, and experimental performance, there’s something to suit every taste. From work-in-progress comedy shows starring big names like Daniel Sloss to boundary-pushing immersive theatre and cutting-edge physical acts, the festival delivers daring, diverse art.
Highlights to Watch Out For
A sneak peek at the first wave of 550+ shows already available reveals a broad spectrum of performances—cabaret, children’s theatre, comedy, revue, music, spoken word, and more — staged across 100+ venues. Don’t miss the BSL-interpreted street events on 10, 16, and 21 August, offering inclusive outdoor performances for all to enjoy.
